Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Brent Husband
and his wife Debbie have been the
owners of Animal Care Clinic since October 1997. He has been
practicing small animal medicine since 1992. He is a graduate of the
joint veterinary program of OSU and WSU. He met his wife, Debbie in
veterinary school. He enjoys surgery and has a special interest in
orthopedic surgery. During the winter, he also is a ski instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows.
Dr. Debbie Husband has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1993. She also is a graduate of the joint veterinary program of OSU and WSU. Dr. Debbie's clinical interests include feline medicine and animal behavior. They have three children at home, as well as four cats and a golden retriever.
Dr.
Melinda Barkley has been
practicing veterinary medicine since 1999. She is a graduate of Pacific
University and OSU. She specializes in feline medicine with a strong
interest in alternative therapies such as acupuncture and dietary therapy.
She is certified in animal acupuncture. She and her
husband, David, have two children and three cats.
Dr
Melissa Shaver is the newest addition to our clinic. She
graduated from the joint OSU/WSU veterinary program and has been
practicing for the last three years. She brings a fresh perspective to
the team. She loves all dogs and cats, but has a special interest in the
herding canine breeds. She and her husband Matt, operate a horse farm in
Newberg.
Meet Our Practice Manager
Louise
Rike joined ACC in 1998 and runs a tight ship with several
Practice Management programs under her belt. Louise takes care of the financial,
business, computer, marketing, and all other day to day operations of
our clinic. Her Bengal cat Felicity runs things at home.
